Most building archives are scans. Sheetsa reads them too, and checks its own work: OCR acts as a second reader, and where the two disagree, you'll see it.
- Scanned sets, indexed. With an Archive plan, sheet numbers and titles are read right off the scan and the set is filed like any other. Faded pages are restored after the set is saved.
- A second opinion on weak reads. When a read is uncertain, Sheetsa reads the titleblock again with OCR. If both agree, it's marked Confirmed.
- Three reads of every old scan. As scanned, contrast-boosted, and in black and white, with a line-by-line report of where they agree.
